FALL 2019 is our main recreational program and runs for 10 weeks following Labor Day.
For PRESCHOOL/U6 (players aged 5 or younger at 31 December 2019) we will behaving a meeting at POLAH on Thursday 29 August at 7pm. Please try to attend so you can get all the details and hopefully uniforms can be distributed. POLAH is the High School at 250 5th Street, San Pedro, 90731. Parking is on street. There's a big parking lot next to the Boys and Girls Club a block away if you are struggling to find space next to the school. There is only 1 entrance to the school and the meeting area (MPR) is directly located from that entrance.
Fror U8 up to U18 there is a coaches meeting at the Croatian Hall on 9th Street at 6:30pm on Tuesday 27th August. Please note at this moment we still need more parents to volunteer to coach in Boys and Girls U8 divisions, Girls U10 division, and Boys U12 division. Please consider volunteering. It is great fun, should help you stay a bit fitter, and you get a $50 discount as well! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or your division coordinator if you are interested in coaching.
You should have received your opportunity draw tickets. If not pick them up at either of the above mentioned meetings or come super early to opening day to fill them out and enter your name for the chance to win. You must turn in all opportunity tickets you sold or entered for yourself by 10am on 7 September. Remember any money you got from selling the tickets is yours to keep.
At the end of Fall coaches grade their players and for U10 upwards we offer players the chance to join the Allstars touring team in the first half of 2019. This is an excellent way for more advanced players to develop their skills and pit themselves against skilled teams from across the State and sometimes from even further afield.
Please note any refunds for fall will be less $30 fee we have to pay to CalSouth which is the umbrella organization HYSL is affiliated to.
Last date to ask for a refund is July 15.
